Japanese Mid - Late 20th century bronze vase with crane design by NEYA CHUROKU (1897-1987). The vase has a standing crane holding its head and neck up on the front and a crane bending down in the back. The bottom has the Churoku mark. Neya Churoku, a student of Tsuda Shinobu, exhibited at many exhibitions including the 1933 World Exhibition in Chicago and the 15th Teiten (1934) where he won the Tokusen (grand prize).
