Taxco Mexican brooch or pin by Miguel Melendez. Pre-Columbian motif of a stylized bird’s head surrounded by a circle with azurite inlay. Fully marked, with maker’s mark (small m inside a C), eagle stamp and 3 = after 1948. Security clasp. Diameter "1½/ 3,8 cm. Condition: fine.

Signed with Arte En Plata Taller as well as an early eagle 3. The artist initials are also shown with AJ. There is a height of 1.25 inches. The beads are a lovely blue green Azurmalachite and has 19 inches of length. The diamond drops are heavy walled silver with a dark natural patina. We have an impressive presence at 190 grams. No damage, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

The quality workmanship is further demonstrated with a weight 122 grams. Hallmarked with pre 1960 patent and registration. This sizable, hand-constructed leaf pin is nicely decorated with applied berries and graceful stems. The secure rollover clasp is original to the piece, which dates around 1950-1960. The pin is unmarked, but it tests definitively for sterling silver, and has Scandinavian influences in its design. It measures 3 3/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide. Weight: 17.7 grams

A Navajo sterling silver turquoise Southwest tribal cuff bangle bracelet circa 1950s. This vintage unsigned but tested silver bracelet with a fine genuine turquoise gem stone. It measures 1-1/16" across the setting and it measures 2-1/4" x 1-3/4" across the interior (this can be adjusted if you wish). The teardrop shape stone has a fine finely mottled bluish green colour and the mount has a blackened ground with twisted wirework. It weighs 14.8 grams...
