Taxco Mexican brooch or pin by Miguel Melendez. Pre-Columbian motif of a stylized bird’s head surrounded by a circle with azurite inlay. Fully marked, with maker’s mark (small m inside a C), eagle stamp and 3 = after 1948. Security clasp. Diameter "1½/ 3,8 cm. Condition: fine.

Wonderfully executed 14Kt pink gold retro wristwatch decorated by eight rubies and fourteen diamonds. Some of the diamonds are set in white gold on top of the watch as part of the flower like design. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.55Ct. By pressing on the grooved knob the lid of the watch will spring open to reveal the face that is marked Jules for the maker, which covers a seventeen jewel Swiss movement. The width of the bracelet is ½”, the width of the watch at the widest...
