An outstanding Victorian lion's claw pendant mounted in 18K yellow god in the Etruscal Revival style. The mounting is covered with twisted rope, stippling and applied bead decoration, and is finished with a slightly matte surface. This Hattie Carnegie is unsigned. It has her characteristic lucite (resin) coral body with clear rhinestones set in gold tone. It has a ridged segmented curler body, scales, horn and lower jaw open to expose the openwork metal. It is 2 7/8" x 1 3/4" . Excellent condition.

We have an obsidian stone Mask brooch that exhibits an exceptional gold sheen. The brooch is 2 in. by 1.5in. Signed RB and with eagle 3. The carving has no chips, cracks or damage. The gold sheen obsidian is getting harder to obtain today and this is a beauty. The silver work on the head dress is exemplary. It was difficult to get a picture of the sheen with my camera. The lighter color is the reflection from light casting on the sheen.

This dainty pin was made by Hermann & Speck, well-known jewelers of Pforzheim in Germany in the years around the turn of the last century. It is centered by a blue sapphire, and it has a pearl dangle. It is marked 333 for 8kt gold, but when we tested it, it held for 10k (this is not unusual; however we had never seen a mark for 8kt gold before! Very unusual!)...

This strand of colorful glass beads from Japan, consists of 25 beads. They have never been used. They are oval-shaped with gorgeous work, best described by the pictures. Each bead measures 3/4" long and graduates to approximately 3/8" high. They are circa 1940's and very scarce.

Modernist design enamel and silver pin, c.1950's. Design is a pair of flesh-colored hands with a blue bird in the upper left corner. The other enamel colors are red, yellow, green, black, and brown. This popular Georg Jensen design features a deeply recessed, oxidized groove around the entire band that is embedded with tiny silver beads. Confirmed unsigned Chanel necklace circa 1960 or 1970; I recently saw this same necklace with a Chanel hang tag with just the name in block lettering (no season numbers or copyright symbols), which dates it to 1970 or prior. I had previously listed this necklace as a probable Chanel. Designed in the Indian moghul style which was one of Chanel's main influences, with red and green Gripoix poured glass beads simulating carved rubies and emeralds, and dark goldtone beaded drops and term...

A nice pair of 14K yellow gold and ruby cufflinks, the round faces accented with engraved lines and a stippled finish that suggests a quilted design. The intersections of the engraved lines are set with round brilliant-cut rubies. The backs are marked "14K". We have seen matching cufflinks, set with rubies or with sapphires, stamped with Tiffany's retailer mark, so it's likely they were made by one of the higher-level Newark jewelers.

Signed and numbered, this bold, modernist, suite is c. 1960’s. It is by the Danish designer Jorgen Jensen: best known for his work with pewter. The radiant, matching disks are concave and convex with a textured, sunburst design. The screwback earrings are marked, “PEWTER,” “Jorgen Jensen” (in script: his maker’s mark), “DENMARK 75 A.” They have a diameter of 7/8”. The huge pendant / medallion is also marked, “PEWTER Jorgen Jensen DENMARK,” but, is numbered “57.” ...

This great 14Kt yellow gold and black (dark gray) freshwater cultured button pearl bracelet is a mid-century modern treasure. Each of the thirteen stylish solid 14Kt yellow setting links is centered by a 6.5 millimeter button pearl. The length of the bracelet is 7 3/8” and the width is 10 millimeters or 7/16”.

A very finely detailed mid-century modern 14Kt yellow gold bracelet decorated by a textured surface and accented by royal blue enamel. The circa 1960, 7 ½” long and 18milimeter wide bracelet was made in Italy and it is fully hallmarked.

Spratling often used the arrow in his silver necklace, bracelet, pin and container designs. This hand forged arrow was made in his very early years in Taxco, Mexico. The pin measures an impressive 3 inches long and is beautiful condition. Both the pin back and safety lock are in fine working order. Spratling designs can be seen in many permanent museum collections.

Very nice pair of Victorian 14K gold cufflinks in the Arts & Crafts or Aesthetic style. This Pennino necklace has the look of diamonds and amethysts that you would find in fine jewelry in a platinum setting. However,this necklace is rhodium plated and hallmarked Pennino. It is 16 1/2" long and 3/4" wide... The swirls connecting each rosette are covered in clear rhinestones as is most of the rest of the necklace. It's gorgeous.

The rich look of these cuff links comes from the intricate engine-turned engraving and deeply embossed scrolled, vine-like borders. The backs exhibit securely soldered split bridge bars connected to domed anchor buttons known as bean backs. The bridge bars bear the mark for 14kt gold and what looks to be the maker’s mark of M.B.
