This is a Rafael Dominguez turquoise bracelet made before 1948 and properly hallmarked as shown. The weight is 58 grams heavy and is 1.25in. wide. It is 7in. long. The silver is thick and Dominguez is know for his high quality workmanship. Dominguez is a noted maestro in Penny Morril's books. When you own a Dominguez piece you know you bought the best! Wonderfully designed cuff bracelet by Henry Steig, a well known Modernist jewelry designer working in New York City in the 1950s. This classic jewel consists of a circle of gold, enameled in cobalt blue, with gold highlights. A 3-looped bow is interlaced through it, decorated with tiny seed pearls, as are the bail and dropper. There are a couple very minor flaws in the enamel - invisible without magnification. It is stamped for 15kt gold, and the gold has that lovely rich color we rarely see these days. A stylish 14Kt white gold, diamond and ruby dome ring from the 1960-s is centered by a 0.40 Ct round faceted natural ruby. The design around the ruby consists of 27 marquee shapes, and each shape is set with a single-cut diamond and arranged in a spiral. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.30 Ct.
