This art nouveau garnet stickpin (scarf pin) is 2 1/2" long. The garnet is bezel set. The garnet in its setting is 3/4 long x 5/16" wide.

This garnet stickpin / scarf pin has been tested to be at least 14K. There appears to be a maker's mark, too. It is in excellent condition.

Art Nouveau is written all over this wonderful 14Kt yellow gold stickpin. The flowing line design is centered by a 7 X 5 millimeter oval faceted bezel set amethyst and the bottom of the design enhanced by a 3 millimeter natural pear. While the stickpin is 14Kt gold, the safety clutch as usual is gold field.

An impressive 42-carat citrine centers this elegant pendant. The 14K gold setting features stylized flowers and foliage on each side of the stone. The citrine has very good even brownish-orange color resembling a good topaz. Overall, the impression is “statement piece.” The original bail is stamped “585” for 14K.

This elegant pin was made by the very collectible Bippart, Griscomb & Osborn Co. of Newark, NJ (an important hub of Art Nouveau jewelry making c. 1900). It is centered by a turquoise cab, with two freshwater pearls on each side (4 in total), framed by a twisted ribbon of 14kt gold. This is one of our very favorite lavaliers! It is quintessential Art Nouveau. It depicts a flower with an amethyst at its center, with the classic whiplash motif. The central amethyst weighs approximately 1/2 carat, and it’s accented by 28 seed pearls. Feng Shui practitioners believe amethysts aid in purification, and give access to a higher plane of energy. The lady in this lovely bar pin is the quintessential Art Nouveau lady with abundant swirling tresses streaming away from her face. A sweet good luck charm in the form of a 14K gold wishbone entwined with a branch of bright blue enameled forget-me-nots. In Victorian flower language, forget-me-nots represented remembrance. This Art Nouveau broach is made of 14Kt yellow gold and centered by an enameled four leaf clover and decorated by two small oriental pearls. The pin is in great condition and has the width of 1” and the height of 7/8”.

The old world charm and workmanship is obvious, when you look at this great pinwheel design broach / pendant from circa 1910.
