An Art Deco sterling silver chrysoprase and marcasites ring from the 1920s 1930 period. Silver gilt filigree and enamel brooch by Topazio, depicting a lovely Portuguese lady with a basket of grapes. Figures in elegantly traditional dress are found in many of Topazio’s pieces from the 1920’s and 30’s. The chains fixed to the pin makes the brooch move, and so draws attention to its wearer. An early Danish Skonvirke 826 silver brooch signed BH and with a dragonfly for Bernard Hertz, Copenhagen 1893-1937. He was a silversmith who was well known for his early Skonvirke designs.

Measures 2 7/8" long and 2 3/8" at the widest. Has a round bezel set green stone cabochon, maybe Chrysoprase, at the bottom and a larger bezel set oval darker green cabochon at the top.

This is a 16-1/2" long chrome plated .830 silver necklace featuring a carnelian glass facetted and grooved stone in the central 5/8" wide drop. It has a springring catch and is probably German or Austrian. Extremely rare and large sterling figural pin by Abraham Paz, Mexico c.1930. He designed for Fred Davis, so it is clear that this famous design was created by Paz. Here, we see a variation on a theme, with a man wearing a serape and holding a rope. The signature is RARE showing the Paz mark, which this antique dealer has never seen before. It is signed "CAP(stylized) HECHO EN MEXICO D.E. A.PAZ 0.925" and is in excellent condition. Of very good size, it measures 2 3/4" high by 1 5/8" wide...

An outstanding Art Deco sterling silver enamel and marcasites pendant necklace circa 1930. The pendant itslf measures 2" x 1" (including enamelled bale loop). It features colorful matte enamel in of geometric flowers in lilac, yellow, orange, lime green, blue and black with various sizes of marquisites. Please note that the colors may appear several shades brighter in our pictures than they are in real life, and the blue is a light royal blue, not turquoise...

This classic Art Deco ring is composed of two half-moons of carnelian flanking a vertical row of marcasites. The carnelian is secured by four split prongs, and there is an embossed scroll design along both sides of the shank that shows a bit of wear. The bottom part of the band exhibits a small applied piece of silver, most likely from sizing. The inside of the band is marked sterling. The oval top of the ring measures about 3/4 inch by 5/8 inch. It is sized at a 4 1/4.

Very early 980 silver FISH clip by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. It is signed "WS TAXCO 980" and measures 1 3/4" square and is worn vertically with the fish head facing downwards.
