A vintage sterling silver hammered money clip made by the Gaylord Silvercraft in Wallingford, CT. The Gaylord Farm Sanitarium was active from 1923-1944 and was organized by William Waldo Dodge.

Measures about 2 3/8" long and 1" wide. Marked Sterling, Hand Wrought and with an impressed upright hammer flanked by two wings for the maker. It currently has a 'G' monogram, but could probably be buffed out.

An elegant 14K yellow gold Victorian bracelet in a twisted braid design. Interestingly, the bracelet tapers toward either end, leaving the middle heftier. Dating 1930's - 40's, this amethyst bracelet from Fred Davis pulls out all the stops. The repoussé silver work is superb. Twelve amethyst cabochons alternate up and down on the leaf panels, with oxidized recesses making this a standout piece. It drapes over the wrist with a silky feel. Measures a closed, wearable length of 7". Width is 1 7/8". Weight is 86.8 grams. Signed and hallmarked with the conjoined FD and Made in Mexico Silver".

Spratling designed this eye catching "entwined hands" buckle in the late 1940's. Measuring 5" X 2 1/4" & weighing 49 grams the piece is in beautiful condition. The back loops will accommodate up to a 1 inch strap. The buckle can also be worn as a pendant. Spratling also designed a similar "hands" necklace. Hallmarks are WS 925. A later version, (c.1965) of this buckle appears on p. 147 of WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE by Penny Morrill.

Spectacular heavy 14K green gold, ornamental link men's pocket watch chain, late 19th Century. The chain comprising 8 fancy twisted love knot links alternating with 8 unusual rectangular links. At one end an intricate hinged round screw clasp for a watch, at the other a slide ring. Clasp marked "14". Length: 15 1/4 in. Wt: 73.9g. Condition is excellent. One of a kind!

A French carved galalith necklace from the 1930s in green and white - NOS. this new pld stock (NOS) French 16" necklace has hand-carved graduated green coated galalith beads. The beads are carved through the green coating, which was done by dipping the beads, then carving them showing the white galalith beneath, and the beads range from 3/16" to 11/16" across...

Stick pin, lava and yellow metal, c 1900 or earlier. Oval shape and motive of a grape vine. Height "¾ / 2 cm. Condition: fine.

A visit to Maisel’s Trading Post was de rigueur for tourists visiting New Mexico before the store closed in the late 1960s after Mr. Maisel’s death. (It was later reopened in 1980 by a grandson, but closed again in 2019.) Tourists flocked to the store, which featured an open lower-level gallery where Native American artists crafted the jewelry and artifacts sold above...

A handsome pair of 18K yellow and white gold stirrup cufflinks by Cartier. The design is similar to the "Trinity" design, but features just two rings with a wavy profile. This is the first time we've seen this particular pattern. The cufflinks are hinged at the back and snap shut at the top of the arch. Each cufflink is fully marked with serial numbers, the master goldsmith's mark and "Cartier Paris."
