This charming ring was made from 10kt (marked and tested) yellow gold, with a marquise or navette-shaped ruby flanked by two tiny accent diamonds. (Ruby is the birthstone for July, and is a symbol of devotion, love, and immortality – so lovely!) It also has a maker’s mark, which is either “QI” or “OJ”. The 2 diamonds are set in white metal – it’s not possible to tell whether it is silver or platinum. It’s size six and could be re-sized...

A great example of Finland Modernist jewelry from the 1960s, a large kinetic pendant made of bronze in a puzzle design by Pentti Sarpaneva. This has 5 interlocking puzzle pieces and a dangling ball.
Pendant measures 2 1/4" across and 5 3/4" to the top of the bale. Chain measures 18" long and has a hook closure.
Marked Finland, Bronze and P. Sarpaneva on the back of all the puzzle pieces.

A nice pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces set with 12x14mm oval cabochons of green jadeite. The gold settings are hand-pierced in a foliate pattern. The jade is semi-translucent with moderate color mottling and a fine grain. The toggle connectors are marked “14K”.

The irregular band shape has an upturned edge along the top, where the opposite edge comes to a rounded point. The dramatic focus of this 1970s necklace is a pendant of applied molten sterling silver on a trapezoidal frame. It is set with small jade and onyx cabochons, as well as one moonstone bead. It is suspended from a handmade sterling neckring with a hook and button clasp. The pendant and neckring are marked sterling; there is no maker’s mark. The pendant measures 2 ¼ inches by 1 3/8 inches; the neckring measures about 18 inches around. Gross weight: approximately 52.5 grams
Circa 1940's, here is a huge conical amethyst ring from Hubert Harmon. An absolutely spectacular ring, one which instantly commands attention.
It's a published book-piece, shown on page 190 of "Silver Masters of Mexico". The amethyst rises to almost 7/8" above the finger, and is surrounded by silver beading. The ring is adjustable, currently at a size 8.
Weight is 23.2 grams.
Signed and hallmarked "Hubert Harmon Sterling Mexico".
