Sleek and elegant sterling hand made Danish pendant with a gorgeous oval malachite. This is an expertly crafted piece with the textured reverse also being an eye catcher. This measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/2" wide. It is in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stone. Could be worn on a chain or any size neck ring. Signed Denmark, a makers mark that I am not able to make out,925S,Sterling and Handmade. Mod and wonderful.

These mid-century earrings are composed of rectangular and concave gilded sterling silver plaques enameled in a deep blue with a linear design under the glaze. The blue shows much brighter than in the images and more of a contrast with the two raised ridges of gilded sterling that decorate the center. They are secured by screw backs in good working order, and are signed Balle 925 for Øystein Balle of Norway. They measure 1 inch long by 3/4 inch wide. Weight: 10.1 grams

This sterling silver ring features a ‘taco’-like folded design with a zigzag band inside sitting on its edge. The inside of the folded piece has been deeply oxidized with a translucent finish. The ring exhibits various kinds of tool marks. The ring is possibly Norwegian, with a mark of 925S inside the band; there are also maker’s initials of JPC, possibly for Danish silversmith Jens Peter Clausen of Copenhagen (1973-1981). Weight: 9.3 grams

Dragon brooch in the Viking style, the fable animal copied from the superbly elegant 12th century wood carvings on the portal of Urnes stave church in Norway, now on the Unesco World Heritage list. Each earring is composed of a floral motif surmount, suspending a bow, suspending a wreath circled about another floral motif, suspending a teardrop. Each earring is fully articulated, so that all the parts move independently with the slightest movement...

This impressive necklace bears the mark of jewelry designer Jacob Hull and the firm Buch and Deichmann, of Bagsvaerd, Denmark (1969-1980). Hull worked primarily in high quality silverplate, producing innovative designs of fine workmanship. The necklace has some heft, and is composed of irregular-shaped dollops of plated molten metal flanked by oblong links. Unhooked, it measures 32 ¼ inches long. Weight: 65.9 grams

This popular Georg Jensen design features a deeply recessed, oxidized groove around the entire band that is embedded with tiny silver beads. An iconic "Lentils" necklace crafted in hematite by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co. Cummings began designing with lentil-shaped beads in late 1980 and it became one of her hallmarks. This hematite necklace is punctuated with a single platinum lentil pave-set with round brilliant diamonds (G/VS1). The brilliance of the diamonds is particularly nice against the dark color of the hematite. The clasp is signed "Cummings", "T&Co." and "IridPlat".

This interesting openwork bronze pin is formed as a stylized horse and is based on ancient Nordic design. It has a lacquered finish to preserve the surface color of the bronze. The back has a secure curled C-clasped and the mark of Finnish maker Koravala Koru. The name of Suomussalmi, a region in Finland, is inscribed on the back as well. The pin measures 2 inches long by about 1 ¾ inches high at the ear.

Here is a hand-constructed cuff bracelet made of multiple wires that are joined at the terminals and kept in place by horizontal rings. The wires look to be silverplated; the rings and soldered terminals are white metal. The cuff has a good heft (56 grams) and an impressive look. It is also well balanced, so doesn't turn on the wrist. It measures a little over 1 inch wide and 5/8 inch high with an inner circumference of about 7 ¼ inches.

A pair of vintage sterling silver 'SLING' ear cuffs or earrings by Tone Vigeland for Norway Designs Plus workshop. Meant to be worn around the ear without the need for piercing. Designed in 1958.
