Kerr sterling belt in Victorian style with cherubs, c.1890. The buckle is a bouquet and lattice design measuring 3" by 2 3/4" and clips on to the last link. There are 17 links each measuring 1 3/8" by 1 1/4". The design is a smaller version of the buckle except that on EACH of the four corners there is a cherub's head(hence 68). A superb American silver locket and chain necklace from the Victorian era. The book chain is enhanced with three rows of lapidary-cut silver balls. This bold bracelet, probably American, has a modern sensibility that belies its ca. 1890 origins. It is composed of a polished hollow sterling silver curb chain with a sterling heart-shaped padlock closure. This unusual brooch features poppies with lovely curving, flowing lines, mounted on an oval of mother-of-pearl. Poppies symbolize sleep (Dorothy in the field of poppies, on her way to Oz), rest, and eternal life. This is an antique Scottish silver pebble florette pin that is 2 1/4” in diameter and is heavy and really well made. The stones are MONTROSE grey striped banded agate, carnelian and bloodstone and the center piece is brandy colored cairngorn stone that is hand cut.
