A beautiful tufa cast pendant with mosaic inlay of various stones including turquoise, coral and onyx by Harold Lovato of Santo Domingo Pueblo. This 72.8 grams sterling quintessential Art Nouveau oversized 4.5" brooch is most likely the boldest, heaviest Unger Bros brooch on the net. This circa 1900 "C" catch sash buckle ornament pin with "hasp" is marked: "Sterling 925 Fine" Unger Brothers. They were known for their "repousse" look on thick silver. Mounted with an oval banded carnelian cabochon, the pin is marked 800 to indicate silver content. It could be European, but has Asian elements to it as well. The rollover clasp is an older style but very secure, with a sturdy pin stem. The design features applied wirework and beading, and rough, scalloped edges trimmed in twisted wire. There are two larger silver half-beads, one at each side; one exhibits a small dent, as shown in Photo 5. The pin measures 1 5/8 inches across.
This interesting bracelet has a rough look to it, with irregular edges and iridescent, highly oxidized surface. The band is pierced as a belt, and is hammered into a strong but flexible construction. The hook clasp is secure and shows no signs of stress. The bangle shows very few signs of wear; it is unsigned and marked as sterling. A very handsome pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks by Tiffany & Co., Paris. The square front faces and rectangular back faces are worked in a fine 3-over-1 basket weave pattern. The deep recesses of the pattern were only lightly polished to heighten the three-dimensional quality of the design. The back faces are hinged. The cufflinks are signed "Tiffany & Co./France/Or 18K" and have the jeweler's inventory numbers. They are also marked with full French hallmarks.
