Jeanie Lea Southwick, American 1853-? was in Japan in 1915 for the coronation where she won a prize for her work. A well-drawn watercolor titled in the lower right, “At the Shoguns Tomb Shiba” (Shiba park is in Tokyo). Signed in the same place Jeanie Lea Southwick. Watercolor over traces of pencil and a little gouache for the blue of the sky in the distance. Sight size 8 7/8 by 6 ¾ inches. Frame 14 by 11 ¾ inches.

Condition: Slight toning...

Inscription reads:Thank God bring it the unto a good land of fountains and dips that spring out of the valleys and hills a lands who’s stones are iron and out of who’s Hills the math dig brass. The work appears to be hand colored. Measuring 38 x 41“ in a beautiful Gilded Frame

Franco-Italian Sculptor Amedeo Gennarelli 1881-1943, “Ecstasy” Bronze , 17” …. Amedeo Gennarelli was a French/Italian sculptor. He was born in 1881 in Naples, Italy, but emigrated to Paris in 1913 and worked there until 1930, exhibiting at numerous Salons of the Societe des Artistes Francais. He is known for his work in the art deco style and for his depictions of the female nude, working in bronze, terra-cotta and wood. He died in Paris in 1943.

Signed lower right A. Goldwhite measuring approximately 18 x 24 inches framed size 24 x30 inches the condition is excellent. A quality painting would be a fine addition to any collection.

Robert William Vonnoh, American, 1858-1933. This oil on canvas is signed and dated upper right "Vonnoh 1906". The painting is in excellent condition with one small repair about 1" long. The painting measures 30" by 24" and is in a 4 1/2" gold leaf frame. Provenance: Private Midwest Collection, Stair Gallery, Sotheby's Auction, Private East Coast Collection.

A still life oil on canvas featuring red roses on a table top, 12" by 18" (" by " framed), signed on the reverse and dated there 1901 by Massachusetts artist of the famous Fall River School, BRYANT CHAPIN (1859-1927). Chapin's still life works of fruit, his specialty, have auctioned into five figures. The artist was born in Fall River and spent his life there, becoming a prominent member of the art colony. This example, found in Maine, is a beautiful example of the artist's work...

It is 8.5" h by 6.5 w in a simple frame with outer dimensions of 11" h by 8" w. This piece is from a private collection and housed in a simple frame.
