A Chinese porcelain censer with cover brightly painted in late 18th Century Qianlong/Jiaqing style. The base carries the four character iron red reign mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795) but this item was made later during either the 19th or 20th Century. Condition - very good - there are two minor breaks to the ribbon surrounding the "lion" on the cover (please see enlargement 4) - no further damages and no restoration.
