A classic figural sterling silver thimble jigger by Thomae & Co. The rim is engraved "Only A Thimble Full." The interior retains its original gilding. Several companies made variationss of this jigger, but those by Thomae are among the best because of their superior weight and workmanship.

This really great little ruby red 1979 Christmas Ornament, in the original box, was made by Westmoreland Glass. This ornament features the Child in Prayer. On the ornament is Merry Christmas - God Is Great - 1979. The ornament measures 3 inches in diameter. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The white paint of the little child does have some discoloration. I don't know what the discoloration is since the box appears to have never been opened...

Measuring 5 1/4" across & weighing 156 grams this 940 sterling silver dish was designed by Taxco, Mexico designer Hector Aguilar. The dish is centered with a 1951 coin with a HIDALGO profile. The reverse side of the coin features an eagle fighting a serpent. This candy dish is pictured on p. 67 of SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. HA, 940, TAXCO, & TALLER BORDA and eagle 9 hallmarks are found on the underside rim of the dish.

This is a set of nine 20th Century Dresden flower rimmed soup bowls, each handpainted with a different bouquet of Deutsche blumen within lovely shaped gilt rims, marked "Dresden" under an 8-pointed star (the mid-century mark of Adolf Hamann). This porcelain group was produced in Denmark by Bing & Grondahl between 1948 and 1951. The model number is 1581. It measures 4 1/2 inches high and is 4 inches wide. These kasuri kimono are very durable, and made to be worn as casual work clothes. I hope you can see the tiny round patches used to strengthen the areas where the sleeves meet the body. This small textile features 25 small mirrors ("shisha") and measures 8.2 x 17.8 cm. There are supposed to be 26 mirrors but one of them is missing, either intentionally or not.
