This is real bone carving panel/painting depicting dragons playing with fire ball. At the back of it is the chinese character of Fok and 5 bats surrounding it. Made using animal bones put together and it is of vintage age artwork made, the polychrome colour pigment is applied on it, it is already fading away and it has its' nice old patina and feel, the two fierce dragons are positioned nicely among clouds and landscape, quite lifely....please enquire.

This pair of bookends was carved by the Igorots on the northern part of the Island of Luzon in the Philippines sometime in the 1950's. Each bookend depicts a tribesman cautiously peering over his shield at the tribesman on the other side. This ornate pectorial is from the Highlands region of Papua New Guinea and would have been worn by a man during ceremonial occasions. It is made from plant fiber, which was pigment dyed and studded with nassa shells. The piece is accented on either side by a large white cowrie shell.
