A prayer cloth (mohr posh) embroidered by Hazara women, probably originating from Ghazni, Uruzgan or Bamiyan province. These prayer cloths are unique to the Hazara and are used to wrap the Shi'a prayer stone, called the mohr. A rare model of Ghurra composed of a chain with 2 square links whose upper link carries an ancestor seated at its top who seems to be in a meditation position. The lower link shows on each of its 4 faces naive sculptures of various mythical animals, elephant, deer, cow, dog and peacock. The ancestor measures 9 cm high, his face measures 3 cm. Superb hard inlaid patina. Presented on an iron stand. Note that this ghurra has undergone several discreet local repairs...

Beautiful antique Japanese imari porcelain charger decorated with motif of chrysanthemums, butterflies and other floral patterns in green, blue, red, and gold. Well painted in the kinrande style. Age: Taisho / Showa Period (c.1930). Size: 18" diameter.

Simple yet elegant sobriquet seal utilizing a Chinese stone similar to chicken blood stone. The seal contains an inscription which translates as: The seal was carved on an auspicious day in December of 1958 (for) Fujiwara Gyokuun. The carved bottom of the seal contains a three character text reading: Kingensen, or The well where gold can be found. Size: height 1.75" width 0.5" length 1.25"

Junrei's hakui (pilgrim's hanten) with many stamps of holy places in Shikoku, which is made of white hand-spun cotton. The ink letters reads "Shikoku Hachiju-hachi-ka-reisho" which means eighty eight holy places in Shikoku. It seems that the pilgrim visited all the eighty eight holy places. In good condition.
