Nepalese Terai Region Mask with a Third Eye. 9 inches, 23 cm.

Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead with black body and of numerous white flowers and beautiful ribbed leaves. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece - see finely textured petals and yellow centers of the flowers and fine structures of the leaves, in perfect condition. Height 0.6 inches.

Kashigata (wooden sweet mold,) Biwa (loquat fruit, Eriobotrya Japonica) motif, Japan, early 20th C. L.8.125"(20.5cm) x W.4.374"(11cm) x H.1.5"(4cm.) The image on this mold shows a bunch of loquat fruit, known as "biwa" in Japanese. Biwa are indegenous to SE China, and the Japanese name may refer to the oblong shape of mature fruit that resembles the shape of the musical instrument, lute (also "biwa" in Japanese.) In olden days, a type of cough medication was made from the syrup of the fruit...

Hongshan Nephrite Pig Dragon Jade Pen Spike dagger Pendant. Great piece with a cicada stripe on the back side. There is some remaining tremolite mineral in the crevasse. Size 4.5" by 1.25" . Collected in HK 1980-1995.

Chinese scroll calligraphy by the poet and calligrapher, Shen Yin-mo (1883-1971). Ink on paper. Hanging scroll. Signed “Yin-mo”, with one seal of the artist. Contemporary mounting by the previous owner. Excellent condition.

Chinese Jumu hardwood coffer cabinet. A coffer is a strong chest or box used for keeping money or valuables safe. The front of the cabinet holds two drawers with hardware for locks. The lower portion has 3 panels.

An Uzbek ikat-dyed silk ceremonial robe (chapan) from northern Afghanistan, quilted with cotton interlining. Condition is overall good, albeit with some minor staining. It is hand-sewn and densely embroidered along the front collar, bottom hem and wrist cuffs. The inside of the collar is lined with traditional Russian printed fabric. A Chinese Beijing yellow glass vase, 'yuhuchunping'. This thick-walled multi-layered vase formed with a pear-shaped body is raised on a slightly flared rolled foot. The opaque glass is a bright egg-yolk yellow colour. Qianlong incised four-character mark within a single square. A well-made and heavy vase.

Pair of Chinese famille rose bowls painted with treasures design, Chinese seal mark on base, early to mid 20th century era. Dimension: 2 1/2"H x 4 1/2"Diam, no condition concerns.

This Famille Rose porcelain GuanYin figure is a mid-20th century product. It depicts a seated GuanYin holding a gold globe in her left hand. It is 10 1/8” high and 8” wide and 5 1/8” thick (both measured from the bottom). The artist name, Zheng Long Sheng, is stamped on the bottom. It is in great condition.
