Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead with rich multicolored ribbon core and four pink petaled flowers with yellow stamens. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece - see the individual stamens and finely textured petals, in perfect condition. Height 0.8 inches.

A Chinese porcelain 'famille rose' jar, finely painted with flowering peony vignettes and fruits on a white ground. The inside glazed white, as well as the base with the base rim and the exterior neck left unglazed. No markings. This is a very nice heavy jar.

This Chinese ivory carving of an open clam is a mid 20th century product. There are nine people resting, walking or sitting on a cart inside the clam. They are surrounded by pine trees. Originally, this was a Japanese theme concerning the “dreams of a clam.” Later, the Chinese adopted this clever design. There are some sea creatures sitting on the top of the clam. It is 2” high (with a carved hard wood base is 2 ¾” high), 4” wide and 2 ¼” thick. It is in excellent condition...
A hexagonal faceted gourd shaped vase decorated in a style not often found in traditional Kutani ware, but more so in traditional Japanese kinrande style porcelains. Oversized limited-edition Japanese sosaku hanga woodblock print by Okiie Hashimoto (1899-1993) titled "Evening Garden No. 16." The bottom margin is pencil-signed, titled in kanji, dated 1960, and numbered 16/60. The artist's red seal is at the lower left corner of the image. The lower right margin holds a black 5-character self-published mark. Paper: 22 3/4" x 18 1/4" (image: 21 1/4" x 16 3/4"). Very good overall condition. The margin corners are creased. Chinese heavy weight wooden grain measuring bucket with black iron mounting with studded nails, 10" high, 7" square-top rim, 12" square-bottom rim, two(2) handles are positioned in different angle to hold the heavy weight grain. There are Chinese Characters written in black calligraphy style on all four(4) sides. Some iron mounting area on the bottom is rusted and left rough wooden surface.
