Antique Asian Silver metal and Coral Turquoise Prayer Wheel, well made with extensive wire work as well as set with real cabachon stones in Turquoise Lapis and Coral. This very nice painted Famille Rose planter is 3 ¼ inches high, 8 3 /4 inches long and 7 inches deep. It is dated 1929. It depicts a water lily and leaf on one side and “Da Juan” style characters around the remaining sides. There is a red maker’s mark on the bottom but it is not readable. Aside from some small chips on the rim, it is in great condition.

Good Kayan Orang Ulu gawai rice festival ceremonial mask, circa 40 years old, from Sarawak. I bought this piece in Kuching, Sarawak in 2003. Used only twice a year for rice planting and harvesting festivals (gawai), these gatherings were usually a good excuse for a party and celebration to encourage the spirits to ensure a good harvest. H: 25cm/9.8in and W: 16cm/6.2in.

A Chinese porcelain bowl used for growing bulb flowers. The bowl dates to the Republic period, and measures 7 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 2". The landscape decoration has been done in a ruby pink under glaze, and there is calligraphy done in black on each end. The white porcelain shows orange peel texture, and when new there was gold on the rim. Condition: The condition is excellent, but most of the gold on the rim is gone, and there are small kiln flaws.
