A charming, signed, pastel portrait by Dorothy Colles (1917-2003) who was (according to an obituary published in the Independent newspaper) "gifted in portraits of children". This very stylish shell cameo set in a 14Kt white gold filigree frame, dates back to the 1920-s. The 33 X 45 millimeter oval cameo depicts a bust of a lady with a diamond and emerald earring. The broach is extremely versatile since a fold down swivel type bail makes it wearable as a pendant as well.

A wonderful double sided smalt trade sign for D.M. Woodward, Doctor of Chiropractic. The gilded letters and the black smalt background are virtually intact and vibrant. The frame is original, and measures 28 3/4 inches by 14 inches by 2 inches deep. There is a small sliver out of the frame at one upper edge, and a small gap in the frame at the corner. Aside from these very minor flaws, the piece is in excellent condition.

This extremely exciting and entertaining piece is circa 1970s. It is slightly convex. The back is marked with the eagle number 20, STERLING. It is also marked HECHO EN MEXICO DF, 925 and a maker's mark that resembles conjoined letters - see pictures. The pin / brooch has a diameter of 1 5/8". This is quite an unusual piece, has good heft and is in excellent condition.

A rare flower and dove bracelet, #23 in sterling silver with Chrysoprase cabochons designed by the Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen. Marked with the stylized GJ in a rectangle that dates it between 1933-44. Also marked with Sterling, Denmark, 925 and 23 for the style number.

A fine and rare 19th century Japanese cloisonne bi-fold table screen in the Kyoto school of Namikawa, depicting a ho bird and dragon. The finely coiled wiring is gilded, as are the back panels of the screen. Each cloisonne panel is wood framed, joined with hinges of silver. Fully opened, the screen measures 8" high and 9" wide.

Condition: Quite fine, with only wear commensurate with age.
