A beautiful bronze temple bell with twisted stem and with two Garudas seated under the protective roof of the Cobra as a finial, Nepalese, 18th.-19th. century AD.

With a stunning brown patina and inscribed with short inscription in Sanskrit on the side of the bell.

A Victorian Naturalism sterling silver christening mug. Hand engraved and fully hallmarked for London, England 1882, this 3-3/4" mug features a leaf and floral design on both sides (both slightly different). It has an unidentified maker's mark and a 353/0 pattern number on the bottom. It retains traces of the original internal gilding and it weighs 155 grams. It has a fancy monogram of GETC. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This is an extremely unusual American 12 tube candle mold, made of tin and painted black. I have seen many candle molds in my time, but don't recall ever seeing one with the type decoration that this one has. The front and side have charming and whimsical squiggles of gold paint.

Overall condition is excellent, with the usual spots of paint loss and wear, and some nicks to the base. All the tubes are present, all the paint is original, and there have been no repairs...

Superb ca1880 Dresden 6" Porcelain Parasol Handle Highly Decorated 18kt A SEVRES PARASOL HANDLE WITH 18KT RING DECORATION This stunning ladies parasol handle dates to ca1880 and is in very good condition, with one tiny whisker chip on the socket end of the handle. It is unmarked as is typical with Sevres parasol handles and is embellished with an 18kt ring at the top of the handle. It measures 6" in length x 1.5" at its widest point. A beautiful piece!

The stone has a lustrous patina and has a very dramatic ‘splash’ of red on both sides. It has never been carved with a designation and the base has now a shallow flake as a result of an impact on the edge, with a little powdery material showing. Further along there is a tiny bruise to the edge. These could be taken out by reducing the length by 0.4cm. Personally the chip does not worry me...

Chinese cloisonne tea caddy that sports three roosters on the body, colorful and delightful, this cloisonne tea caddy is an eye catcher with its bright assortment of colors, condition is good with an ever so slight loss of enamel around the lids edge, two burn spots on the base bottom that was done during the manufacturing process. Though some chisels are made as late as Daggertime just before the bronzeage, this unpolished attractive chisel was likely made during the Singlegrave period, 2800-2400 BC.

A fine pair of 19th century clambroth glass candle holders. Stout but elegant baluster turned sticks with broad, stable feet. Fine and practical decorative accents. The reference to clambroth says it all - the milky glass almost translucent (more so toward the foot - see second illustration) with opaque bubbles throughout. Good condition...

A huge white bronze / early brass mortar of the finest execution, likely apothecary, incl. pestle, Northern Europe, ca. 1690.

A nice early transition type of a later design that became popular in the 18th. century. Very elaborate and finely cast and with a nice colour.

Size: ca. 18 cm. from handle to handle, 17,3 cm. wide at the rim and 15 cm. tall. The Pestle is ca. 25,7 cm. long and the set weighs around 5 kilograms.
