Antique Japanese todana mizuya (kitchen cabinet) made from a beautiful keyaki burl wood in reddish brown hues, with two sets of sliding panels, 8 drawers in varying size, and one pull-out panel with a ring handle. It has a very interesting and unusual form, with slats running down its sides and back. The inside of the top set of sliding panels has an aged sheet of paper marked with kanji. A rare and unique offering of a Ming dynasty (1368-1644) wall section from Nanning in Guangxi Province. Molded in deep relief it shows a typical scholar from the Ming dynasty wearing the literati hanfu, the traditional black straight-lined robe. His hair style is the traditional wavy cloud that rests in a neat pile on the pate of the head...

Unusual 19th Century Japanese Imari fluted edged dish with an asymmetrical design featuring a basket of fruit and 3 butterflies. In excellent condition, it measures about 10 inches in diameter. Dates late 1800, Meiji Era.

Rare Etruscan neck ring with outwards-turned tapering ends and a belonging fibula.
The grayish patina and the effloresced surface denote that the silver contains additions of other metals like lead and tin.
Neck rings were known from the Celts and also used during the Villanovan period.

A large brass mortar with a corrosponding pestle, very decorative and a nice antique for both display and kitchen use.

Size: Mortar is 133 mm. high and 130 mm. wide, pestle is ca. 24 cm. long and combined weight of the set is more than 3 kilograms!

Condition: Superb.

This is shirushi-Hanten which a firefighter wore. A member of Nu-gumi wore this. The letter of the collar is written as Nu-gumi. The inside is good blue-colored cotton of the natural indigo plant. It is the good cotton that both sides were spun by hand. The small hole such as the image is it in three places and thin stain two places. The others are complete. Size 107cm x 120cm (42.1 "x 47.2")

Antique Japanese cloisonne jewelry/treasure box, made from bronze, with deep navy blue sides decorated with gold cloud shapes. The lid has a beautiful cloisonne landscape with overhanging cherry blossoms on tree branches, a tower and building with blue roofing, and a red bridge crossing over a running river. The inside of the box is inscribed "Kyoto" and has the mark of artist Inaba Nanaho of The Inaba Cloisonne Company, established in 1887. Size: 1.75" height, 3.75" width

Adorable Soap stone carving of Fu dogs on wooden Stand. One large fu dog dominates as a small dog is perched on back, and two climb and encircle the large dog. Intricate detail in the bodies of dogs, showing fluidity and movement. Soapstone is set on a flat wood carved stand of lilies and branches. Republic Period (circa 1920) Dimensions: 9" Long, 6.5" Tall, 4" Deep

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Austria in the late 19th century. It is unsigned other than some hand painted numbers. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The Japanese-style hand enameling is exquisitely executed. The raised enamel peonies are outlined with gold in an almost tapestry-like fashion. There are bands of gold beading and gold filigree trim just inside the rim of the cup and around the well of the saucer...

Length approximately 15 cm. Few minor damage to the stand. In good condition.
