Figured blue silk. Stitched on embroidered roundels with design of a boy holding flowers. Applied with black silk band and ribbon at the collar, cuffs and hem. On yellow silk satin in satin stitch and Peking knot beautifully embroidered sleeve bands with flowers, peaches and bats. Peach colored silk lining. Condition: One roundel at the back and parts of the ribbon missing. Some wear and minor staining, loose threads, lining worn, repair. Dimension: Sleeve to sleeve 148 cm, 57 cm high.

Gorgeous Chinese silk robe in an ivory color, with allover pattern of silk dragons and clouds. The breast of the robe has a large, beautiful phoenix with cascading feathers in light pink, grey, gold, and off white, with pink forbidden stitching around its face. Silk leaves with gold stitching and pink budding flowers decorate the lower front of the robe. The robe is edged in silk leaves and flower buds, zig-zagging stitches, and forbidden stitches. Classic long sleeved silk brocade cheongsam aka qipao. This is all hand tailored and hand sewn, definitely not off the rack. Beautiful floral pattern (lotus, chrysanthemum, and pomegranate blossoms) with foliate scrolls, this pattern can be traced back to Ming Dynasty blue and white porcelain. The zipper has come off the track other than that perfect condition. See enlargements for dimensions. Clean but could use a steam press. More dimensions can be provided for a serious buyer.

Antique Japanese small container for the storage of incense, made with mulberry wood with raised gilt lacquer designs of gourd leaves, nashiji (sprinkled gold flakes) lacquer inside, with a gold scene of chrysanthemums on the lid's underside. Late Edo Early Meiji Period (circa 1860's). Size: 2" H x 4.25" L x 3.25" W

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory or KPM in 1913. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 3 1/2 inches high, not counting the handle. The cup features a pedestal base and an upswept handle. Both pieces have periwinkle blue bands around the borders. There is a gilded wreath containing hand painted daisies on the front of the cup. There is fancy gilding and gold trim in several areas...

Very finely detailed hand carved bone lime box from Timor, circa mid 20th century, with wooden stopper. L 10cm/4.1in. Included is anthropomorphic stopper from the Bataks near Lake Toba, Sumatra. They’re unrelated but somehow look like they belong together.

This is a charming traditional Chinese child's "wind hat" so called because of the protection the hat gives to the back of the neck. The silk threads of the satin stitched embroidery depict lots of flowers and butterflies. Hat is in good condition

A Chinese mirror, mounted on the back with a panel of green jade carved with shou characters and the handle with a similar green jade. This small mirror is encased in a gilt and enameled silver frame. Stamped " silver". Rare Jennings Brothers inkwell set with an elaborate hunt scene on the cover that opens to show a beautiful hound's head on the inkwell cap. Tibetan Wool hand made Rug, 61" x 30", lined with hand sewn fabric lined underneath, very heavy soft wool in touch with even wear, navy blue border and flowering branches in soft dark Salmon color with key pattern in narrow blue border, Ruyi shape large flower branches on both side in soft lighter blue and beige color, supporting the "Long Life" Character in the center. Fine three paneled wedding blanket from the Zhuang ethnic group, Southern China. W: 90cm/35.5in and L: 148cm/58in (with border W: 134cm/52in and L: 190cm/74in. Woven from all hand spun cotton and silk embroidery threads. Classic diamond and star pattern with “wanzi” swastika meander patterns on the border, also incorporated into this pattern are a few “Wang” characters (Chinese for king), which may be seen in the lower left side of the cover image...

The gently domed top of this incense box is decorated with a traditional painting of crane diving for fish over sea rock. The sides of the box lid have scalloped indents to allow for easy opening. Box is 5+ inches x 3+ inches X2 inches high.
