This silver plate Meriden Britania Co. Number 202 napkin ring is a long tailed bird resting upon the stem of a large leaf,its tips creating the feet. The banded napkin ring holder has in its center a leaf design with the space for engraving. This space is engraved "Ella" very lightly and very small. The Japanning shows some wear and there is a bump to the side of the ring. It is hallmarked "Meriden" in a circle. Lots of detailing on this item.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Hungary by Herend in the 1870s. The set is modeled after cups and saucers of the Chinese Yongzheng and Qianlong dynasties in the 18th century in the Famille Rose pattern. A Staffordshire punch bowl decorated with both freehand painting and the transfer of the Chinese ladies and part of the fence in the center of the bowl. The border and the four sprays that decorate the outside of the bowl are all hand painted, as is the pink lustre mountain behind the ladies. The decoration is bright and cheerful. 9 ½ inches diameter, 4 ½ inches tall.

An extremely nice tinsel, or foil, painting, showing a pearlescent urn overflowing with a wide variety of flowers, with a fallen rose bud at the base of the urn.

Housed in a period and probably original frame, measuring 17" by 13 1/4", the painting itself is 12" by 8 1/2". The condition of this gem is excellent.

A pair of silver bowls with great potential for repairing, Sasanian, c. 3td.-6th. century AD.

Lot includes a hammered bowl with fine decoration in repousé and a larger crack and loss, plus another hammered bowl without decor with a small crack and loss. Both bowls are hammered in rather thin silver and uncleaned with some green encrustation.

A nice lot that can be much more valuable when finely restored!

Edwardian Classical sterling silver bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Oval well with tapering sides and wavy, scrolled rim. Chased and cast scrolls, flowers, leaves, and scallop shells. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 14367, and director’s letter C (1902-7). Excellent condition.
