A fine small ivory okimono of Jurojin holding a peach with a deer at his side. The figurine measures 2.25" (5.7 cm) high. Signed on bottom, it is in excellent condition. Price $650 USD.
The ivory stand does not go with the okimono, but we like them displayed together. Stand measures 1.75" (4.4 cm) and has some age cracks, but it is solid. Stand price $125 USD.
This is a unicum! We like to offer you one of the highlights of our collection. A very fine and aesthetically pleasing Karatsu Tea Bowl from the early stage of the Edo Period (1603-1868).
It has one of the most beautiful Kintsugi repairs we have ever seen. A mixture of lacquer and gold powder showing a traditional Karakusa pattern. There is no comparable bowl - a real unicum.
The 'kara' of Karakusa means 'China', while 'kusa' means 'plant'...
Chinese Brass Oil Lantern or Oil Lamp Ca. before 1920, 11" high for stand, separate round Dish with handle for oil-1 1/4" high shallow dish, bottom-5 1/4" x 1 3/4" high, stand nicely within the Brass ring attached to the main stand in the middle section, bottom-5 1/2" diameter and, 1 3/4" high, etched double fish and original used condition, no damages.
17th Century Japanese Arita porcelain blue and white charger, with imagery of one bird flying overhead a second bird, peaches growing to the right and flowers blooming to the left. The inner rim has multiple panels with various flowers and scrolling vine dividers.

This is a large, substantial ancient Chinese nephrite object which appears to be composed of two opposing "core" elements from a cong or similar tube object. Each end tapers toward the middle where a "shoulder" ridge is present. The piece measures just under 7" in length and is 1-3/4" at the widest diameter. The piece has been seen and authenticated and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. The stone itself is celadon colored nephrite with substantial dark inclusions...
Let's continue with another treasure: rounded wan-shaped tea bowl with high foot of the bamboo node style. The body pinched in at the middle to a shape called tojinbue (Chinese flute). The light, little coarse clay with enclosures is expertly thrown and full glazed - incl. the foot - with a transparent glaze of wood ash with some feldspar over a white engobe in hakeme style. The glaze shows a fine little crazing over the engobe, which is just amazing...
Early ming blue and white dish decorated with Fish within an aquatic scene of water plant and continuous flowers at the outer wall. 32 cm diameter. Dish has five hairline and fritting chipped at the rim on restorations.

The signed box is labeled “10th generation”, which means Tan-nyu (1795-1854). The reverse side of the lid has an appraisal of the grand tea master of Omoto-Senke.

A pair of Gorham sterling salt dishes with spoons dated 1889. This embossed pair of 19th century salt cellars are 2" in diameter and they feature floral embossing and scalloped rims; they are stamped with the lion/anchor/G Gorham mark, STERLING, 2235 (pattern number) with the Gorham 1889 year mark. The pair of 2-1/8" long sterling silver salt spoons also have the Gorham old hallmark with STERLING, and they are in the Colonial pattern by Gorham, which was introduced in 1885...
