The vase has a bulbous body that tapers to a wide neck that rises to a shallow, rounded rim, and is covered allover and inside the foot with a glaze of soft, slightly greyish sea-green color with guan crackled type. Southern Song 12th-13th century. Condition : a minor fritt, no chips, hairlines or cracks and free from restoration. Diameter: 11 cm

This old Chinese stoneware ceramic pipe bowl (smoke chamber) would have been placed onto the smoking pipe to allow for a small piece of opium to be smoked. The tiny opening at the top would allow the smoke to be drawn into the stoneware chamber and cooled before being inhaled by the smoker.

The piece has 2 different makers marks which are clearly stamped into each side of the clay underside of bottom hole.

A green glazed "celadon" ware vase with flattened pear-shaped body made in the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province, circa 1450-1550, during the middle Ming dynasty. The shape is probably in imitation of ring handled bronze vessles of similar form which have been produced in China since the Yuan dynasty. The glaze has wear off due to the long period of exposure in sea water. Otherwise it is in good condition. No chip, crack, repair or restoration.

The measurement of the dish is: Diameter 27.6cm and the Height is 5cm.

A good Song Yuan longquan celadon large bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with 35 carved raising lotus petal motif at the exterior, covered with good green glaze. Bowl is in good condition with small glaze fritt at the rim covered, no chip, no crack, minor crackled at glaze surface, porcelain with high ping sound with finger tip.

Rare northern Song Ding ware white glaze jar with cover, rounded side with globular body and unglazed base, cover with lobbed rim, jar decorated with flower motif at the outer wall, lower part with raising lotus petal motif, jar covered with white glaze.
Good condition with small chip at the cover rim and another small chip at the jar rim, covered / touch up, no crack.
Size: 8 cm height, 9.5 cm wide.

An unusual beaker or gu shaped vase simply and strikingly decorated with wucai overglaze enamels. The central section is of a 'rope twist' form possibly copying turned wood. This item was made for export to Europe during the reign of the Kangxi emperor - 1662 to 1722. Condition - the neck has been reduced by 3.5 cm and there is a light 3cm hairline running from the rim. No further damages and no restoration...
