A bold and beautiful tinsel, or foil, painting, reverse painted on glass. The subject matter is a yellow and white urn, filled with a bountiful array of various flowers, done in a rainbow of colors. The period and probably original frame is of high quality mahogany, which is very rarely found on this type of work.

The painting is in overall excellent condition, and the frame itself has some scuffing and wear, which could easily be touched up...

Korean incised Celadon Bottle: Koryo dynasty, 12th-13th century This is a pear shape formed celadon bottle with a compressed lower body set on a high foot. It is decorated with an incised ruyi pattern around the neck, incised with four chrysanthemum floral heads leafs on the body below two horizontal striped lines. A small bronze mirror with a diameter of 6.88cm (2.71 inches) and a total length of 12.1cm (4.8 inches) weighing a mere 42gm. Decorated with a Kano school asymmetric composition of a prancing Tiger and Bamboo probably having a common source to similar compositions found on Kakiemon porcelain. The mirror is signed Fujiwara.
