A fascinating Japanese shrine bell known as, Waniguchi, or directly translated as Crocodile's mouth, which resembles the wide mouth of a crocodile. The bell is usually found in shinto shrines that enshrine deities that were imported to Japan or Shingon temples. The bell contains an inscription stating that the bell was originally donated by the ancestors of the donor in 1686 and a new bell was rededicated in 1839. The handle and lid, although they look good, could use resilvering. It measures 7 1/2" tall to the top of the lid x 5" in diameter.

Signed, handpainted, Moser bowl, clear to amethyst with gold decoration. Minor wear to the gold, otherwise in perfect condition. Measures 2 3/4" tall x 6 1/2" long x 2 3/4" deep.

A Yung Ming longquan celadon large carved dish, round barbed rim with deep center and glazed base with ring for firing, dish decorated with carved flower motif at inner wall, center with cross motif, dish covered with deep green glaze.
Dish is in good condition with one faint hairline at the rim, no chip no crack no restoration, slightly wrap, good ping sound with finger tip.

Solid split pedestal mahogany dining table made by Brown and Simpson of Boston in 1909. It measures 54 inches round by 29" tall when closed. There are six leaves, two with aprons. Beautiful ladies chair in a variation of the Rosalie pattern by Belter. Henry Belter became fameous for taking layers of wood, mostly rosewood, and laminating them so that they could bend and form a wonderful shape that showed off the wood so beautifully. This chair is typical of his work, and was made between 1850 and 1860. It measures 39" tall x 24" wide x 29" deep and will make a wonderful addition to any room
