A large, highly decorative, antique Chinese wall vase which shows a jar, with a frontal clock and two rams heads, that is filled with lotus flowers, leafs, pods and buds. The vase and its contents are potted from non-porcelain pottery clay and fired at a low temperature. The front of the vase is colored with over-glaze enamels. Late Qing Dynasy (1880s 10 1911) Chinese scholar small jadeite seal of round section with ball shaped finial containing a hole for hanging. Wonderful piece appropriate for scholar’s desk. The bottom is carved with two raised characters, old dried red seal paste in the grooves. Delicately white/green natural untreated jadeite with darker green areas, beautiful finish to the surface. Height 1 5/8 inches, diameter 3/8 inches.

Spanish colonial era Philippine Santo, figure of Saint Antonio Abad, estimated to be from mid-19th century, on a base (of perhaps different vintage) 13 inches including base.

Antique Kalinga basket for carrying and storing rice or vegatables made by the mountain people from northern Luzon, the largest island in the Philippine archipelago. This coil basket is perfectly symmetrical and has nice warm patina. The coil weaving technique, materials (finely split rattan and nito vine), and design are consistent with baskets made by the Kalinga tribe. This rare and very beautiful collectible basket is in excellent condition and measures 12” high and about 10" diameter.

This Indonesian container would have been carried by a man using the handmade string as a shoulder strap. The "purse" was hand carved out of a local hardwood and both the top and bottom have decorative details.

The container sits stably on it base but can also be hung on the wall as an interesting sculpture artifact.

Approximately 9 inches high, 7.5 inches across and 4 inches deep.
