A Finely Molded Shallow Celadon Dish:
Korea, Koryo period, 12th Century,
This is a fine celadon glazed shallow bowl with a six lobed rim,
the interior rim incised with a single line and finely molded with
a large peony on the interior well, applied overall with a clear
greenish blue celadon glaze with three spur marks on the base.
It is in fine condition but a tiny chip,a short glaze crack and
scratches on the well in use. It measures 7” d. x 1 7/8” h,
Ming Chenghua period ( 1465 - 1487 ) blue and white Minyao ( peoplesware ) bowl decorated with a very nice, typical Chenghua water-plant design.

A green "Celadon" glazed dish or shallow bowl with flat bracketed rim. The centre is decorated with a moulded peony flower; surrounding this the thick green glaze is incised with stylized lotus scrolls. The flattened globular sharply tapering to a raised ring foot, and sloping to a
narrow neck with everted cup-shaped mouth decorated in inlaid with white slip
with chrysanthemum floral heads between a double circular ring,
applied with a grey celadon glaze overall.
