Antique 18th century Turkish Ottoman Kutahya ceramic Islamic tile pane of square form, composed of four small tiles, painted underglaze on the creamy white ground with a large green circle stylised cobalt blue tulips flower with yellow stems. The tile is set in its antique beveled wood frame.

Old rattan/bamboo splitting knife used in basket making. The blade still carries a sharp edge and is still quite serviceable. L: 65cm/25.5 (blade is 18.5cm/7.5in). Good condition, the blade has some surface rust but is till sound and solid.

Used antique Chinese inkstone with a carving of a peach at its most shallow point. Peaches are said to be heavenly fruit that promote longevity. An exquisite bronze image of an ancient sage, a gnarled staff supporting his crooked frame with a golden fan capped with silver feathers clutched in his right hand. Ornemental hairpin from the Li minority of Hainan ; it is made of buffalo bone, and engraved with a character, one arm up, riding a mythical mount (dragoon), and with a fish and numerous geometric designs.
The hollowed parts are filled with black pigment ; ancient glass and porcelain beeds and silk streamers. L : 20c. Hainan island, Li minority, beginning of 20th. C.
