A large, Museum Quality pottery figure of a male attendant carrying a leather bottle under his arm. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.
The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both in fine Sancai colours - a two-colour green and yellow glazed robe.
He wears a high hat. Finely painted facial details. Lotus thrones are very rare for Ming pottery figures...

Gorgeous Japanese lacquer box with allover gilt lacquer designs over black lacquer backgrounds with gold flakes. The front has two drawers with a crane flying beside a pine tree in lacquer. The top opens into two compartments with hinged lids decorated with a phoenix and a cherry tree. Panels of floral scenes with lucky motifs decorate the sides. Signed tomobako included. Dates from the Meiji period 1868-1912.

Flat shaped and elegant modulated Korean Ido chawan from the mid Joseon Period (16-17 century). It is thinly coated with a creamy yellow glaze and very scenic drippings. Shape and form are inspired by the Buncheong Dynasty Gqey yl Chawans a period before.

A lovely and rare stamp seal depicting two horned animals mating, West-Mesopotamia, c. 2nd.-1st. mill. BC.
The seal is exceptionally well-carved for the type with a four-side and pierced handle atop of the rectangular base. The stone is even dark green. Rare depiction!
