Interesting cylinder seal in white stone with fine drill-carving of figures and an alter, Neo-Assyrian provinces, early 1st. mill. BC.

Nicely engraved but with some uncleaned earthern deposits that disturb the imprint a bit, so wit would improve when cleaned.

Box (Kobako) in lacquered wood powdered with gold (nashiji) decoration representing Daruma (with cut eyelids), face in red lacquer (cinnabar), eyebrows in silver powder and transparent eyes (crystal, glass or mica?). Daruma stands in front of a circular opening in old cracked walls. Its silhouette stands out against a background of rich kinji lacquer. Daruma wears a meditation robe lacquered in relief (taka-makie) with gold dust...

This is an original yosegire hanjyuban made with plenty of silk katazime and silk fabrics from the Edo period. During the Edo period, silk was very expensive, so kimonos were often made without throwing away even the smallest scraps. This item uses plenty of linen thread as the basting thread. The lining is red silk from the Edo period. There are slight stains. there is some damage to the silk stripes. See image. Size: Length 90cm / sleeve to sleeve 127cm

Late 19th century to 1920s good size Japanese sterling silver and copper cigarette case with inlaid and carved landscape of snow covered Mount Fuji rising above clouds, and a wide bay with rocks, pines, huts and sailing boat boats, with design continuing on the back of the case. Inlays are cut all the way through, so the image on the inside of the case is the mirror image of the one on the outside. Excellent quality carving, wonderful inlays with differently colored patinas...

This is an antique Dehua type Blanc de chine censer, it possibly of very early Qing or of late Ming Dynasty, very thin potted body quite translucent. This is museum quality, small Liao dynasty (907-1125) sancai green glazed moulded moon flask ewer. It stands on a flat foot rising to a rounded side body with a spout mouth and a handle. The top opening of the ewer is moulded into the shape of five leaves in five divided panels (picture 6)...

19th century Chinese Peking glass bangle bracelet of classical shape made out of opaque white glass with green and pink/red splashes imitating jadeite.
