This ivory carving of the goddess of mercy, Guan-Yin, is an early 20th century product. It depicts Guan-Yin holding a pearl in one hand and a vase in the other. There is a tiny sitting Buddha in her hair. It is 9” high (with fitted hard wood base it is 10” high), 2 ½” wide and 1 1/8” thick. The carving is superb and it is in excellent condition.

Antique Chinese lapis bottle with raised carvings of a taotie motif over squared spiral designs with dragon heads, and pierced spiraling dragons on the bottles' sides. There are carved downwards pointing leaves near the top with two handles in the form of beast heads and carved rings. The lid has an artichoke shaped finial. Comes with a delicate hardwood stand with silver inlay.

The remains of a very important, most beautiful Qingbai glazed Shrine. Southern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ). ( Yingqing ). This despite it´s condition still absolutely beautiful piece belonged to the former personal collection of the old Hj. Syamsuddin, the well known former Antiques-shop owner from Bali and Makassar. Each bowl is set on a low, carved footring with a slightly recessed base. The rim gently flares and thin toward the edge. The interiors are fire-polished, and the exterior walls are hand-polished. Each is in good condition with some small bubbles visible.

A splendid Chilong Dragon with a bifurcated tail is presented on the front of this unusual bottle. The material is limestone of a dark hue but under decent lighting exhibits a snowstorm of whitish inclusions.

Chinese Turquoise color Monochrome Pottery hand molded 2 handle Dragon Vase, Ca. 17th C. Ming, 8" high, 6" wide for point to point hexagonal bottom, 4 1/4" wide for top include two(2) handles. The bottom is not glazed. There are some small glaze chips, very common for this type of monochrome glazed pottery.

A large and beautifully potted blue and white ginger jar. It is a scene of a dragon and phoenix chasing after the "Pearl of Fire" between heaven above and the sea below. Both the dragon and the phoenix are elaborately drawn with much details. The ginger jar also has the original porcelain cover as well.
