We offer from our private exhibition a Tibeto-Chinese large and heavy gilt bronze four faced Amitayus Buddha from the late Qing Dynasty ( 1644 - 1912 ).

The Amitayus ( Bodhisattva of Longevity ) is seated on double-lotus throne in dhyanasana and with both hands in dhyanamudra.

The statue is 17,1 inches high and 7,5kg heavy!

It is marked and in great condition.

Here we like to offer you a 100 year old bronze Guan Yin Statue (kwan yin) from China with traces of gildet laquer. It is sold together with its wooden stand.

She is riding a foo lion / fu dog and is holding a droplet of water in her left hand.

The Guan Yin is in good condition. It has no repairs and shows only some wears of age, which emphasizes the antique charakter.

The interior is well-painted in various colors of overglaze enamels, having a central Shou medallion surrounded by four auspicious characters rendered in gold with red outlines on a white ground. The reverse is painted with two flower sprays over the clear glaze which covers all but the exposed footring. The six-character Guangxu mark is painted in two vertical lines in dark red enamel. The yellow enamel has some areas of light wear from use...

A nice Qianlong period famille rose export plate, made during the middle of the reign ca. 1750, featuring an armorial design with coats of arms enameled amongst floral sprigs.

A rare southern Song dunasty longquan celadon blue green large bowl, rounded side with deep center and unglazed base, bowl has very rare rim shape and covered with good bluish green glaze, good porcelain with high ping sound with finger tip.
Bowl is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, there is small glaze flake / frit at outer rim, minor crackled at the glaze surface, very rare rim shape.

This dish bears a six character Guangxu kaishu reign mark in iron-red, but in our opinion, the glaze and enamels suggest early 20th century republic period.

A Ming dynasty 16 - 17th century blue ground large ewer with cover, good condition size: 22 cm height.

A porcelain Kendi with powderblue glaze and decorations in gold, mounted with a silver lid and spout. China, Qianlong (1736-1795). H. 27 cm. Condition: wear to the gold decoration and wear to the silver (see pictures). The silver spout may have had a small lid, that was connected with a chain to the main lid of the Kendi. Note: Many Kendis were exported to Indonesia, it is very well possible that the silver mounts were added there. Provenance: Amsterdam private collection.

Eye catching 19th century root wood brush holder. The exterior is beautifully polished. Ching dynasty. It measures 4.75" tall, 4" wide.

A pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain cups. Nicely painted decoration of three flower arrangements on each cup - the bouquets respectively centering a peony, a chrysanthemum and a camellia bloom (appearing to represent blooms from different seasons.) The cobalt blue has a deep, clean quality. Late 19th to early 20th century. Condition is good - one cup with small flake inside the foot rim (illustrated.) Ming blue and white large dish decorated with fine under glaze blue of scenery river boat mountains pagoda and house motif at the center, inner rim with nine white stork at the pond, outer wall with three squirrels in the three branches of fruit trees. 34,5cm diameter. A suburb Chinese Boxwood carving of a warrior riding a horse. This wonderful carving is masterfully carved and has a rich patina. The warrior's face is wonderfully expressive. He holds his weapon out to the side creating a diagonal to the sculpture that makes it sharply dynamic. Height: 11.5 inches, 29 cm.

Up for sale from our private Buddha collection is this bronze gilt Guanyin with a well carved six-character Xuande Mark.

She is seated in rajalilasana with an expression of peace and serenity. The Guan Yin is wearing a tiara and loose robes falling over the shoulders with lots of images.

Please notice the rare throne with its face on the arm rest and the claws on the base of the throne. Very seldom and rare.

Large Chinese Guanyin made of Jade, with changing jade colours from light green to green, yellow, grey and black, the figure is seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus flower, one hand holding a bottle of elixir and the other hand raised in apan mudra.

The artist has put together three pieces of jade, the buddha, the crown and the lotus seat to a spectacular Guanyin statue with very detailed carvings...
