DETAILS: A composite bow made from several elements of horn, sinew, and wood. Outer side appliqued with high-quality horn bellies, the inner side is covered with painted in brown and beige Birch - bark, with the handle wrapped in cork on the middle bordered by shagreen and flanked by inlay in white bon traditional Chinese cay pattern...

This is a Qing Dinasty, 18th Century, with a Circular, Bulbous, tapering towards the bottom form Yellow Jade snuff bottle, with sloping shoulders, rounded short neck, and flat oval footing. Its background is yellow, but it also has shades of light brown (burnt), beige and nebulous with stripe forms of white colors. It also has a couple of natural lines that meet in a porous area in one of its sides...

A rare and very finely enamelled 18th Century Wucai Dragon and Phoenix Bowl - Qianlong mark and of the period (1736-1795).

Condition - there are three rim chips, three long hairline cracks and one short under the glaze hairline (please view enlargements); there has been no restoration...

Saucer bowl with under-glaze blue decoration of a bird on a flowering twig, silky chocolate-coloured glaze to the outside. Yongzheng or early Qianlong period, first part of the 18th century. Diameter "5¼/ 13 cm. Condition: glaze bubble and a hairline (cf. pics).

This is Ming dynasty, Wanli period deep polychrome large swatow bowl. It stands on a short foot rim with a recess base with a double red circle in the centre. From the foot rim, it everted slightly and upwards, and then towards a mildly everted mouth rim.

The flattened centre of the bowl depicts the drawing of the “Hai Ma” shown crossing the seas with bellows of waves. On the outer circle, it is a combination of a series of sea waves and four large waves...

Length approximately 13.3 cm (across the handle). 3(three) soft dents at the body. 1(one) dent at the base. In good condition.

Two unique blue and jarlets being offered as group. 1. a small Binh Taun shipwreck jarlet. 2. a Jiajing jarlet 1796-1820. The condition is excellent with the exception of the shipwreck jarlet that shows wear from burial at sea, otherwise the group is perfect without any further flaws, no chips, hairlines, or other damage.

A very attractive and scarce Chinese silver and wood snuffbottle, dating Qing Dynasty, 1740-1760.

Cast bronze vase decorated with three handles in the form of masks of mythological creatures, carrying a trunk and large ears probably inspired by an elephant. The cast work is beautiful and the finish is neat. On the lower and upper edges, two very elegant Greek friezes are discreetly and finely incised in silver. The edge of the vase is slightly split, but you can still put water in it. A nice original patina confirms the age of the object, probably 19th century or earlier...
