Intricate carved wall panel circa late 19th/early 20th century, with peach blossom and chrysanthemum floral medallions carved into hexagonal and cruciform shaped lattice work. Fine Qing Dynasty small carved wood panel depicting a scholar and boy in garden with flower buds and pine trees. Carved on both sides excellent condition with gold, red and black lacquer. L:30.3xm 12in and H: 12.5cm/5.5in.

This early 20th century large stone carving of a water buffalo cow and calf is 6 ½” high, 7 ¾” long and 4 ½” wide. It depicts a cow eating grass but feeding her youngster at the same time. The bodies of both calf and cow are finely incised to represent hair. It is in excellent condition.

MEMENTO MORI

Lidded container for mortuary tablet made of pine tree actually once used at a private house in Andong in east central Korea, early 20th century, approx. 25.5 x 14.5 x H 33.8cm (10.03 x 5.70 x 13.30in)...

This Chinese golden colored Sha-green is large by shagreen standards...it spans almost 7 inches at the longest point front to back, and stands just over 3 inches high. The top clearly has some scuffs and loss to the hide, which for me enhance the beauty of the box. The box is hinged at the back and the inside is lined with leather.

Antique Japanese velvet painting "Yuzen Birodo". It is a beautiful image of Mount Fuji with a small town on a lake, the foreground is full of water lilies. It bears a seal in the bottom right of the image. Yuzen Birodo or velvet painting was a technique made popular during the 17th century. The artist would work using a special process of dying where the image is created in the weave of the fabric thus creating an image of rich colors...

Japanese green Glass Ojime, 3/4" diameter, large holes on tops and the bottom where cord go through to tightening for Netsuke. There are some indentations on the glass surface.

Chinese Foo Lion or Foo dog carved top Soapstone Chop, Ca. early 1900's, not inscribed on the bottom yet, 3" high, 7/8" square on the bottom, the condition is old and shows some wear, no damages.

This antique Korean serving tray would have been used for serving tea or individual meals. The signature characters on the bottom are followed by the symbol for "student", presumably the tray was carved by an apprentice. The bottom also has rough darken areas for a more secure gripping surface and shallow attached feet which also have rough bottoms.

The tray has a delicately upturned lip, a deep rich red brown color. It is approx 13" x 9.5 inches...

Literati taste of a Chinese boxwood brush pot with polished skin and twisted knot holes. An elegant form representing a natural world which is a keen favorite in the Song dynasty.

A large and impressive image of olive-green soapstone (shoushanshi) depicting the demon-catcher Chonggui in martial pose standing above the small image of a seated demon disguised as a Buddhist monk. Extremely fine details. Late Qing Dynasty. H 24 cm. Condition: Excellent.

Antique Chinese jadeite carved bangle with two-tones of a light grey/green and a large area of orange/brown. Very eye-catching, with natural patterns. Size: 2.75" diameter

Wholesale lot of 100 pieces Jade Bi, vintage to antique Burmese jadeite. Diameters: 23mm to 17mm, hole diameter 6-7mm. These are untreated stones i.e., not dyed with original natural color. This Chinese carved bamboo brush rest has traditional dragons chasing pearl and cloud motif. The background shape is the 5 mountains and the rim of the mountains have carved ridges. The piece measures 3.5 inches high and 6 inches across. The natural curve of the bamboo allows the piece to stay upright, and the piece remains balanced on the 1/2 inch thick bamboo. Condition is very good.
