This jade skull is yellowish green and is from the Hongshan Neolithic Culture. It was dated to 6700BP-4900BP. It is 1 7/8" long and 1 5/8" wide. It has marvelous patina and the color is mesmerizing. It is 100% translucent. The jade is extremely fine grained and top quality. This could have been the top of a shaman's staff. BEWARE, this is one of the most reproduced fakes out there, especially on eBay. This one is the real deal. I no longer use "in my opinion" COAs...

Antique Korean two section stacking personal chest with base. The front is made with hardwood burl (probably mulberry). Each section has a large compartment opened by two hinged doors. Silver colored hardware is made of chased brass.

Wonderful distorted shoe shaped (kutsugata) tea bowl made of light, fine, unrefined Mino clay. Shape and style make it appear contemporary with the late Oribe bowls. The expertly thrown body is covered with the typical black oniita engobe inside and outside - with the exception of the bottom - over which a white, feldspatic Shino glaze has been poured.
Just the foot ring and its immediate surrounding was left unglazed...
Chogappo made of fragments of asa (choma,ramie or hemp) whose wefts and warps are hand-plied. A Large Fine/Rare Korean Copper-Red Decorated Wine Bottle-19th C.: Korea,Joseon dynasty, 19th century.
Of compressed globular form with attenuated cylindrical neck painted with
grapevine and grapes on one side and on the other in copper red, grayish white glaze
applied over the surfaces including base, firing grits adhered on foot rim.
It’s in fine condition but one horizontal hairline crack
on lower body. Measurement: 30.3cm x 19.2cm d.

With gold painted lines simulating veins. The lines outside in low relief. The celadon glaze has a nice colour. There are 5 spur marks to the base.
In the collection of the British Museum there is a cup of similar form ( it´s base as well with 5 spur marks ) that is dated to the Kangxi period, Jingdezhen ware. ( Museum Number : PDF, A. 516 )

Finely cast, with nice details, miniature statue of bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, standing on a lotus base, his left hand holding what seems to be a gourd. Bronze, with encrusted reddish green patina, with traces of the original gilding. China, Tang Dynasty. Height: 5.6 cm. The statue is nicely mounted on a custom wood stand. Good condition.
