Statue of Maitreya, the Buddha of the Future, in monk's robes, sitting on a lotus throne, with a small stupa in his headdress, his hands holding a vase. The statue is made of copper, with a fine age patina. Tibet, 19th century. Height: 8.8 cm. Very good condition.

A collection of 10 Buddhist and Bon ritual cards tsakli) painted with colors on paper from different sets, of which the most interesting and rare depicts a Wrathful Protector, 3 Vinaya cards and a Yogi belonging to the Bonpo school, and 5 Buddhist tsakli with ritual objects. Most of the cards have long inscription on the back side. Tibet, 19th and 20th cent. Condition: Of mixed quality, 3 in good condition, the rest quite worn.

Hemp cloth for child's ceremonial kimono with katazome (stencil-resist-dye) and hand-painting, the technique is called Kata-Yuzen. The weft and warp are hand plied. Both long cloths have cuts in the center for the neck and front cloth is narrower than back cloth. Generally, in good condition except for a bit of color fading. 19th century. Porcelain cover for jar or vase. Decorated with enamel flowers and birds. The exact dimensions are written on the photos so you can check that the lid fits your vase correctly. I think that given the flattened shape of the lid, it probably belonged to a jar rather than a vase. China late Qing dynasty. Diameter 20cm. Good condition.
