This is a beautiful old Chinese necklace made out of genuine natural corals. The color is salmon pink. Approx. 63.5cm (25 inches) long and weigh 66.3 grams. The measurements of the center coral are: 1.4cm x 1.7cm in diameter. Circa 1930.

Antique Chinese table screen made of serpentine from the Nangyang region. In two separate pieces: the picture slab of prized serpentine is framed in Huanghuali which sits into a carved frame. Valued for it's undulating natural snake-like layers, this serpentine screen once sat on a scholar's table. There, it could be admired and pondered for it's beauty.

A Thai cast bronze figure of the crowned Buddha Shakyamuni, with serene facial features, holding his hands in dhyana mudra. Condition: no base, later added core material. Dimension: 16.4 cm high x 9.6 cm wide x 4.1 cm deep.
Japanese silk kimono with shibori style ground, motifs of coins with peonies, kiri leaves, pine trees, and other floral elements against geometric patterns. Splashes of pink add a touch of feminine color to the kimono.

the woman of many Chinese Ethnic Minority groups did not cut their hair. It was often worn on the top of the head in a bun,and sometimes intertwined with lengths of an ancestors hair for added protection from evil spirits.
The hair was often (especially for festivals)

A Chinese Longquan glazed dish decorated with overlapping upright petals on the exterior wall. Southern Song Dynasty - 12th/13th century. The glaze is of grayish olive-green color, one side is darker than the other side on the exterior wall. The dish is in excellent antique condition with normal glaze scratches. There is one glaze contraction spot on inside bottom of the dish, and a few tiny ones on the outside. please see photos for details. Diameter: 5-1/8". (Wood stand is not for sale)

19th century kagamibuta (“mirror lid”) netsuke with metal top depiction a tiger on rocks by the sea and a dragon in flight among swirling clouds about to engage in a fight. Very nice pairing of most powerful Zodiac animals, bronze disc with gilding, tiger is inlaid with shakudo (alloy of copper and gold) with characteristic black patination resembling lacquer. An exquisite Japanese gold lacquer Inro of boat scene with five compartments. The inside compartments are covered with dense nashiji lacquer (fine gold flecks). Underneath the bottom compartment is the artist's signature, KAJIKAWA, with red chop. Inro (seal basket) are small decorative containers that hang from the waist.
