A beautifully colored mottled nephrite jade disc (sword-pommel) in colors of cream, rust and grey. In the center is a small hole encircled by flower petals. A double-lined rim borders the outer rim of the petals. A band of C-curl patterns extend to the double-lined outer rim. I purchased this unique antler wedge or chisel from Jim Bennett. It has fabulous patina and is scored/grooved on the sides. It is 5 3/8" and was found near Wakemap Mound on the long narrows of the Columbia River, Oregon in the 1950's by Charlie Mitchell. A very rare and unique piece.
