The seal is carved with an interesting beast, probably winged horse or Bull beside a large rosette symbol of the Sun-God. Attractive!

Good bamboo handled knife with hand forged blade from the Karen ethnic group Northern Thai/Burma border. Total length 31cm/12in with good sharp edge- small nick at the tip off the blade which could be honed out, about 60 years old.
Intricate bronze hanging lantern with curling legs, buddhist cloud diaper patterns and different panels with plum blossoms and bamboo - auspicious symbols of happiness and good fortune.

Rare Ming porcelain classic “eight trigram” design censer from the Jingdezhen kiln, with celadon glaze, on three small feet. This is easily mistaken for a stoneware Longquan ware, so please view last enlargements to see the white clay showing through the unglazed portion, unlike the grayish clay from Longquan. A beautifully carved tray of overlapping leaves interspersed with clustered grapes by Ichikawa Shudo signed on back in a circular cartouche. In one corner an odd round tail leads us to a squirrel head popping through the leaves, as if one were looking up through the vines toward the sky. An interesting and very rare Wedjat Eye amulet in the openwork design and inscribed on the back with the cartouche of Cartouche of Maatkare (Hatshepsut), New Kingdom, ca. 1479–1458 B.C.
These Eye of Ra amulets are very rarely inscribed with cartouches on the back. This particular amulet is also of special interest since it bears the name of greatest female ruler in the history of the Dynasties, Hatshepsut.

Very beautiful and rare large porcelain bowl with polychrome enamels with very finely made decorations of birds, florals and mountains, Fuji... The quality of production is remarkable and characteristic of Kyoto pieces where the decorations are made by the greatest craftsmen Satsuma vases in particular are the most sought after. This large cup has an unidentifiable stamp under the base. Diameter: 27,5cm height: 19cm.
Japanese wooden inro with two compartments depicting a carp with horn eyes, finely carved.
From the mouth comes the cord that crosses the agate ojime and reaches the boxwood netsuke which depicts the story of Oniwaka Maru, the future Benkei, and the giant carp.
