This cast metal figure of a farm girl is an early 20th century (late Meiji) product. It depicts a bare footed farm girl carrying a large basket on her shoulder. It is 11 ¼” high and 4 1/8” in diameter at the base. The tip of the small stick she holds in her left hand is broken off. Aside from this, it is in very good condition.

Charming Qing Dynasty Chinese pot used for warming wine or saki. Hot water would be poured into the main container and the small pot would hold the wine. Made of pewter or low grade silver with bronze fitting. each side of the outer pot has minor scratches on the surface.

DESCRIPTION: A Chinese export filigree bar pin fashioned from three hardstone discs, two of jade and one carnelian, mounted in delicate, decorative openwork made from thin twisted wire. Most likely dating to the Victorian era (1837 – 1901) when such pins were fashionably worn at the neck fastening two collars, the pin is in very good condition with no chips to the stones and slight wear to the wirework. DIMENSIONS: 3 ¾” long (9.5 cm) x 1 3/8” wide (3.5 cm).

An antique, 18th –19th century Indian, finely cast, copper alloy figure depicting an Indian Hindu deity, Rama. The figure is shown standing on a square plinth, with hands on hips. Rama is wearing a long dhoti tied at the waist with a sash falling down the sides of the legs. The upper torso is adorned with necklaces, and the arms have armlets and bracelets. The face is flanked by elongated earlobes and is topped by a high conical headdress...

Fascinating Taisho Period C.1920 tea ceremony bronze tripod incense censor. Almost art deco in design and feel. The Murashi-do bronze was dipped in hot oi at firing to create the mottled patinated colorings. The handles are elephant heads. Chinese Porcelain red glazed bowl dating to the 20th Century. The bowl has a maker's mark on the bottom and added spot drilled markings on the interior. The bowl appears to be a communal eating bowl with an owners marking. The interior mark translates to "battle ax" which may indicate it was used by a military man. A Houtien jade pendent was in flat cicada shape.
With original drilling holes at the tip for hanging, the jade piece was covered with unique black stone crust comparing to milky white tint of the pebble.

A cheerful family outing adorns this rich and colorful display of a day out in the country side. Dated to the late 19th and just prior to 1891. The ginger jar is in excellent condition without chips, hairlines, with very little rubbing of the details, hardly noticeable at all. It comes with a well formed lid that is beautifully designed. 7 inches high without lid (8.5" with lid) x 7" diameter.

According to the estate, this spoon was brought back from the Philippine Islands. It was reserved for use by a person of tribal importance, referred to as a "prestige spoon".
