This is an extremely rare pure gold 23K gold cup from Colombia. It is 3 1/2" tall. It has been hammered paper thin and has some crinkling. I purchased it in 1986 from dealer Royce Hubert.

Scarce and attractive steatite scarab of the New Kingdom period, inscribed with the royal name / cartouche of Seti I, 1294-1279 BC.

Carved in greyish steatite with fine details of the beetle and inscribed with 'men ka re'. Thanks to a good collector friend reassigned from Thutmosis (men kheper re)

Mosaic glass pendant in the shape of a bearded head, surmounted by a large loop for attachment to a necklace. Phenicia, or Carthage, archaic period, 350 to 200 B.C. Height: 6.1 cm. Barely visible old accident, superbly restored, otherwise very good condition. NOTE: similar pendants are shown in the Antique Glass Collection of the Louvre Museum in Paris. Small figurine representing Kuan Yin, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, in formal attire and wearing elaborate diadem and necklaces, sitting cross-legged on an elevated throne around which reclining lions are showing. Bronze, with dark reddish-green patina. China, Northern Wei or Sui Dynasty. Height: 2 3/4" (7 cm). Strong erosion due to great age, right hand partly chipped (old accident) otherwise good condition. An extremely rare object.

Chinese Neolithic jade carving of a bird, carved of the Hongshan culture (4700-2900 BC), with orange areas in contrast to the overall green tone. The back of the bird's head is carved with a small hole to be worn as a pendant.

A turquoise glazed faience Ushabti figure, of mummiform shape, made in ancient Egypt during the late period, circa 1069 - 332 BC. Provenance: from an old Merseyside collection. Condition: there is age degradation to the surface and the tip of the feet has been chipped off. 9cm (3.5 inches) long.

Condition: VF, intact with surface corrosion. Better than imprint indicates.

Rare Chinese Han Dynasty Pottery Dish with Painted Fish Pattern

An adorable Chinese Tang dynasty Sancai glaze pot. This pot suppose located in the middle of a seven star tray. Dia. 4.5cm. Although just a fragment, the imagery is outstanding in this substantial gray pottery piece. Molded and carved, it depicts two seated chieftains facing one another over a table (?) resting on a skull. The imagery is crisp and clear. The piece measures 6" X 2-5/8", while the image itself is 4" in width by 1-3/4". Dating to the 5th - 8th century AD.

From our Early Chinese Collection, an excellent neolithic tripod (Li) pottery vessel from the Xiajiadian Culture of either Inner Mongolia or Liaoning Province, circa 2500-1500 BC. These strange, other-worldly looking vessels belie their true age, which is an astonishing 3500 to 4500 years old. Constructed of a buff colored earthenware with partially hollowed-out udder-shaped legs, it has a slender and well-burnished body that flares out to a wide rim...

This jade piece has been specific gravity tested as true jadeite. It is 1 1/8" long and 1/8" to 1/16" thick and looks like it is a jade river worn pebble. It could easily be adapted for modern wear as a ring or necklace. It is ex-Keith Finello and has been authenticated by a forensic laboratory, Orenda Labs.
