An antique Japanese Kotansu (personal storage chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand forged iron hardware and aged patina finish. Warabite style handles. Straight dovetail Japanese joinery and hardened wood nails were incorporated into its design. Five drawers with a hinged security door that behind hides two small drawers.

Large Chinese Qing dynasty blue and white porcelain basin with a central interior roundel decorated in the Canton style with a figure in a traditional pavilion in a landscape scene surrounded by water boats and a bridge. Hanging jewels extend around the circumference of the well and a border is along the rim. Three bamboo sprays are on the exterior. The unglazed base is flat. 19th century. 13 1/4" diameter x 4 1/2" high...

Chinese porcelain snuff bottle in the likeness of a playful lion, also known as 'Shi' or 'Foo Dog', with a yellow body, light green tail and mane, brown, bushy eyebrows, and chewing on a xiù qiú ball with flower designs and a green ribbon tied around it. The front of the xiù qiú is the opening to the snuff bottle and has a Jade stopper. 19th century Size: 3" long, 1" wide

An Elegant Late Victorian English Silver Tea Caddy with a Bird and Floral Repousse Design. Hallmarked for London, 1895, with the Makers Mark of WG over JL, for William Gibson and John Langman founders of Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Ltd. in 1880 on Regent Street in London Dimensions; 4.25" high x 3.25" diameter; weight, 4.1 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

Marked underneath for Gorham, "Sterling", and "B19". 5" x 1-1/2" wide. 2) Sterling tray marked with an "L" in a triangle and "Sterling". Possibly La Pierre. 6" x 2-3/4". Approximately 3.69 troy ounces total. CONDITION: Light surface scratches from use.

An antique jade stone with landscape pattern in it

19th century Japanese small lacquered wood netsuke representing a theatrical mask, appears to be of Nogaku type. Uncommon image, excellent intense face, great patina. Crisp detailing, nicely lacquered, some wear to the surface. Signed RYUUN on the back bar - the artist is listed in NETSUKE MASKS by Raymond Bushell, p. 175, signatures 241-243. Height 1.1 inches.

An intricately hand carved Chinese rosewood or similar hardwood lid for a ginger jar. There is a small insurance number written on the inside of the lid, see last photo. DESCRIPTION: An early 19th C. three door country New England corner cupboard in original dark blue paint with reddish trim. The interior is washed with a pale green milk paint and has three shelves in the upper portion and storage space in the bottom. Two door panels have age cracks to the wood. A superb piece for a country interior. DIMENSIONS: 71 1/2" high x 41 1/2" wide x 19 1/2" deep.

Unusual late 19th century Japanese fossilized pink coral ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) in barrel shape with natural features in the material. Nicely made, large central hole, pleasant patina. Height 0.73 inches.

19C Chinese Imperial Famille Rose Porcelain Snuff Bottle Xianfeng Mark and Period The bottle is decorated with medallions of various floral, foliate and geometric designs. The base is inscribed with a four-character seal mark. Xianfeng seal mark and of the period. It comes with a silver stopper with turquoise adornment. Size: 6.8 cm tall, 5.3 cm wide, 3 cm thick. Condition: Good condition considering its age.

Massive Chinese late Qing dynasty finely carved root wood figural group mounted on a tripod root wood stand featuring the immortal Li Tieguai (“Iron Crutch Li”) in a dancing pose at the center flanked by two immortals. Li Tieguai holds an unidentified object in one hand while the attendants each hold a peach. Arms, legs, some heads, and the figures themselves can all be removed from the stand to facilitate shipping. Circa 1900. 52” high. Good overall condition...
