This is a wonderful indigo dye cotton boro Noragi used in Aomori Prefecture during the Meiji period. (1868-1911)
This item has been reinforced with Sashiko stitches many times over the years. Sasiko yarns change with the times.
Boro Art's design was created over time with cotton cloth that was spliced many times. You can also enjoy the back side. Enjoy wearing it.

A German 1820's cabinet cup and saucer with burnished and matte gilt decoration of Karl Friedrich Schinkel’s new theater building in Berlin, inaugurated in 1821 and nowadays concert hall. Inscribed “Das neue Schauspielhaus in Berlin”. Height "4½/ 11 cm. Condition: rubbing to the gilt on the saucer and inside the cup (cf. pics.).
Oribe is a visual style named after the late-16th-century tea master Furuta Oribe (1544-1615). Kuro Oribe pieces are the most common with their jet-black glazes and feldspar ornamentation tending towards the minimalistic, abstract; and, some would say, Zen-like aesthetic. While the piece shown here is not entirely typical of Oribe pieces, the black glaze, contrast window, and unmistakable kutsugata shape all point to this genre of Minō pottery...
This old Chinese Ethnic Minority inro is carved from animal horn and has 2 compartments. Each side is carved with a floral motif that is bordered with a key design. These symbols are especially meaningful to the Miao ethnic culture. The inro was worn suspended from the belt by a braided cord. It is a attractive ethnographic relic for the tribal arts collector. Condition is very good and the piece measures approximately 3.5" X 2
Late Meiji period (1890s to 1912) Japanese wooden kushi (hair comb) with colored and gold lacquer decoration of a bird in flight against a crescent moon among stylized clouds. Beautifully made out of dense wood allowing for fine teeth, very good lacquering, wonderful work in Japanese taste, wear and loss as can be seen on photos. Length 4.05 inches.

pale crackled celadon glaze applied over all evenly including base with three spur marks.
It’s in very mint condition without any minor damages at all.

Chinese/Tibetan antique rectangular pillar rug with blue five-clawed dragon. The elongated middle section of the dragon exits the plane of the rug on either side. The dragon has five claws and is woven in shade of blue on a yellow ground with wisps of clouds and auspicious symbols. Details like it's teeth are woven in white and it's nose, tongue and flames are a coral color...
