Interesting stone stamp seal found in Harran, easternmost Turkey, prior to 1991. Harran was founded as a real city at some point between the 25th and 20th centuries BC, possibly as a merchant colony by Sumerian traders from Ur. Over the course of its early history, Harran rapidly grew into a major Mesopotamian cultural, commercial and religious center.
This seal is engraved with distinctive spoked wheel in the base, so we can date as 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC...

19th century Chinese silver hairpin with chased decoration of flowers, the leaves are enhanced with enamel, and with a Chinese hallmark on the back. Made for Straits Chinese (known as Peranakan - persons of mixed Chinese and Malay/Indonesian heritage), lower grade silver, beautiful sharp work, some losses to enamel, overall in great condition. Length 4 1/4 inches.

Four(4) Japanese Imari Porcelain Soba Noodle Cups, Ca. late Edo to early Meiji period, mid 1800's, 2 5/8" high, 4" square-top rim, shaped square top rim with overglaze Comical figures on dark Red divided panels on four(4) sides, underglaze blue flying crane decoration on the bottom enclosed with blue decorative rim on top inside the cup. One(1) cup has one(1) glaze hairline about 1" long, barely visible, and some sand marks while firing in the kiln inside the cups.
This porcelain plate was produced in Germany in the late 19th century. It has a maker’s mark under the glaze we do not recognize. The plate is 8 1/2 inches in diameter. It has a beautiful reticulated border that is quite elaborate. The center of the plate is painted with a garden scene with lovers under a tree. The painting is expertly done. There is lacy gold trim around the inside of the plate...

Late Qing Dynasty Chinese soapstone sculpture carved as a court lady holding a basket with fruit. Wonderful precise carving, beautiful tranquil face, elegant flow to the lines of her robe. Cream colored soapstone with red patches, great warm patina, marked with two carved characters on the bottom, in excellent condition. Height 3.64 inches.
This Chinese wood carving from the Qing Dynasty portrays a seated nobleman. The surface is covered with remains of the original multi layers of lacquer paint. There are no marks on the bottom. Hand carved and only 4 inches high this is a charming piece of old folk art, an artifact from the glory days of old China.
Highly interesting stone seal carved in an extremely hard jade-like stone (probably nephrite), Anatolia, found at Mersin, c. 2nd.-1st. millenium BC.
Archais symethric grit pattern in the base, the seal itself of a monolithic shape that could look like an animal head. This is dated by Oberländer to the Pre-Historic period, but we believe it to be a later seal, due to the shape of the seal and the very hard stone used.

A small sweet excellent condition antique egg basket. It has nice patina and is circa 1870-80. It would hold about 5 or 6 eggs and a lot of strawberry emeries.

Song Dynasty brown glaze jarlet with four ears. There is no damage other than the glaze degradation due to age. Cavities near base occured during time of its making. Dimensions: 3.5 inches high and 3.5 inches diameter at widest.
