Its front is engraved with a beautiful seated princess, and its back is engraved with Chinese characters reading " The best medicine of the West comes to the great East. Chinese antique agate snuff bottle, converted by a French artist into a striker (lighter) with the addition of a silver bottom and rim with details of irises, dragon flies and butterflies. The silver work has a distinct art nouveau style to it, the lid is made of orange agate, silver and coral.

The exterior of the deep rounded sides carved with a band of petals rising from the foot to the flat everted rim, and the interior decorated in the center with two molded fish, covered overall with a glaze of guan type sea-green tone except for the foot rim burnt reddish-brown in the firing 19.5 cm diam. Several frittings on the foot rim, No Cracks, or hairlines and free from restoration.

Longquan stoneware vase of an archaic bronze gu or zun form, with a wide mouth and everted rim. The vase has ge type of golden celadon glaze. There are four vertical raised ridges on the central and lower sections. This celadon vase is modelled after an ancient ritual drinking vessel called a gu. Wealthy aristocrats and generals of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, (about 1600–256 BC), buried bronze vessels as part of ritual eating and drinking equipment for tombs...

They are in good condition no repairs, chips, or cracks, except holes drilled at the bottom, retouched and repainted by the manufacture at one vase's corner, and another vase has a foot slightly filed (as seen in the photos)...

Korean two-unit stacked chest (ichung nong) with beautiful persimmon wood front panels, and a fruitwood frame. brass hardware, four rectangular top drawers with brass bat-shaped handles, and a set of hinged drawers on each unit with a large brass butterfly lock in the center and brass butterfly hinges. The Korean word for 'bat' is a homophone for the Chinese word for 'good fortune', so bats are considered a good luck charm, and butterflies represent happiness...

Two (2) Japanese bronze candlesticks, each with a wide base in the shape of a lotus pod and a long rod connected to a lotus flower shaped holder. The bottom of one candlestick is engraved with a Japanese signature. Meiji period (1868-1912). Size: 27.25" height, 6.75" width
