Very old and wonderful carved wood figure of the buddhist god Fudo Myoo, he stands with laso in one hand and sword in the other, made of wood with mineral pigments, glass eyes, metal details including sword, large and dramatic with fire nimbus, Muromachi Period, inscription on the back of nimbus says Yuwayadera (name of temple), nimbus is signed that it was restored by Minamoto Haruhisa April 16, 1560. There is a old paper to the back of the dish in German language which indicates, that this dish was found in North Sumatra ( Aceh area ), and that the dish was purchased at the 10th of October 1973 in Medan, North Sumatra...

Lovely bronze Buddha in the naïve style that is so typical for Laos. It's heavily cast. The Buddha in Bhumisparsa Mudra, seated on a lotus throne. H. 26 cm. Very nice age wear and good patina. There is a minor hole in the front, this is a casting flaw.

A very rare Ming dynasty blue glazed and white slip pouring vessel (Kendi), rounded side with globular body and high neck, kendi decorated with blue glazed and white slip of flower motif at the body, neck with Buddhist symbols motif, lower spout with bird motif, base with white glaze and some blue splashes.
Kendi is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration.
